Craig Travers will retire next month as general manager of the St Jo Frontier Casino. Travers has operated the St Joseph facility since March of 2005.

He will be replaced by Chris Krabiel on June 10.

Travers oversaw the recovery of the gaming house after the flood of 2011. The casino was closed by high water for 93 days. His employers at the time said that wouldn’t be possible. Travers calls that a high point of his eight years in St Joseph. He’s been working in the industry for 45 years.
