Ruth L. Gullick, 85, St. Joseph, Missouri died Thursday, May 9, 2013 at Heartland Regional Medical Center. She was born August 18, 1927 to Ruell William and Myrtle Leota (Gregory) Jackson. Ruth married Ferrill M. Gullick, who preceded her in death on January 2, 1987. Mrs. Gullick worked at American Electric for 40 years in the payroll and insurance departments. She was preceded in death by her husband; and parents. Survivors: sister, Mildred Morris (Billy); nephews, Rickey Jackson (Sandra) and Daniel Morriss (Jackie); nieces, Pam Smith (Joe), Cindy Cates (Richard), and Laurie Burns (Brandon); great-nieces and nephews, Joey, Kay, Jennifer, Michael, Tyler, Brycen, Emily, and Cole; and great-great-nephews, Austin and Baily Jackson. Kathleen A. Woods

1941-2013

Kathleen A. Woods, 72, St. Joseph, Missouri died Thursday, May 9, 2013 at her home. She was born February 11, 1941 to Neal Brady and Helen Cecelia (Sutton) Hevel. Kathleen married George Connie Woods on August 25, 1966. He preceded her in death on April 28, 1991. She graduated in 1960 from Central High School in South Bend, Indiana and attended Dear Park Grace United Methodist Church. Mrs. Woods was a homemaker and enjoyed arts, crafts, and traveling. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brothers, Robert and Bernard Hevel; and sister, Colleen Culp. Survivors: daughters, Dianna Woods and Denise Simpson (Tom); sister, Maureen Hevel; and three grandchildren, Ledger, Lawsen, and Berkeley Simpson. Services: 10:00 A.M. Monday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory. Interment Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends 5:00 to 7:00 P.M.
