Terry Florence Major, 78, Burlington Junction, Missouri, died on Saturday,
May 11, 2013 at her home.
She was born April 27, 1935 in Atchison County, Missouri the daughter of the late Terry and Veda (Helums) Robinson.
Florence was a 1953 graduate of Burlington Junction High School and lived her entire life in Iowa and Missouri. She was a homemaker and retired LPN having worked at St. Francis Hospital, Maryville, Missouri.
On September 23, 1953 she was united in marriage to Donald G. Major at Rockport, Missouri, who survives her of the home. Florence is also survived by son Terry Don (Deborah) Major, Texarkana, Arkansas, daughter Sandra (Lee) Rohlmeier, Burlington Junction, son Randy (Traci) Major, Savannah, Missouri, one sister, nine grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Florence was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and three sisters.
Funeral services will be held May 14, 2013 at the Price Funeral Home in Maryville, where friends may call after 1 PM on Monday. Burial will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery, Clearmont, Missouri.
In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be left to SSM Hospice or the Leukemia Foundation and left at the funeral home.

Mary Lea Gallagher
1928-2013
Mary Lea Gallagher, 84, Maitland, Missouri died Friday, May 10, 2013 at Heartland Regional Medical Center following a brief illness.
She was born August 16, 1928 in Bigelow, Missouri to William and Selma Smith, the thirteenth of fifteen children.
Mary Lea was baptized at the First Christian Church in Mound City. She graduated from Mound City High School in 1947 and St. Joseph Beauty University in 1948. She worked as a beautician for Dorothy’s Beauty Shop in Mound City and later at Dolly Madison in Kansas City.
On September 22, 1955, she married Eldon Gallagher in St. Joseph, Missouri. He preceded her in death in 2000. They lived in Maitland prior to moving to their farm west of town. Mary Lea was a hard working farm wife and mother who proudly raised three sons. She loved her family and enjoyed gardening, making quilts, and scrapbooking.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Erma Hinkle, Ruby Shunkwiler, Mildred Diggs, Dorothy Moss, Miriam Noland, and Wilma Shockley; brothers, Joe D. Eldon, Wayne Herschel, William and Raymond Smith; and an infant grandchild.
Survivors: sons, Scott Gallagher (Linda), Maitland, Missouri, William Gallagher (Vera), Skidmore, Missouri, and James Gallagher (Michelle), Maitland, Missouri; grandsons, Chris and Dylan Gallagher, Frank Webb (Anita), and Tony Lawrence; granddaughters, Jennifer Bucy (Mike), Corissa Gallagher, Darcie Gallagher, Kaycee Crawford, Daphne Chambers (Rowdy), and Ashley Lawrence; four great-grandchildren; sisters, Barbara Scarbrough and Helen Derr; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Ernest Pazar, 83, New Hampton, Missouri died Friday, May 10, 2013 at Heartland Regional Medical Center.
He was born August 6, 1929 to William and Beatrice Pazar in Carderep, New Jersey.
Ernest married Mary Lou (Goin). She preceded him in death on August 3, 2007. They were married for over fifty years.
He graduated from Barber School in Kansas City, Missouri, and later owned a barbershop in Osborn, Missouri. He proudly served in the United States Marine Corps, where he was a veteran of the Korean War.
Ernest was a member of Lone Star Baptist Church and was a fascinating person who enjoyed traveling the world with his wife.
He was also preceded in death by his parents; and eight siblings. Survivors: son, Geraldo Pazar (fiancé Kimberly), Kansas City, Missouri; brother, Richard Pazar (Linda), St. Joseph, Missouri; sisters, Yolanda Sharrick, Old Bridge, New Jersey, and Marcella McCashland, West Virginia; and several nieces and nephews.

Richard L. Dixon
1928-2013
Richard L. Dixon, 84, St. Joseph, Missouri died Sunday, May 12, 2013 at his home.
He was born September 3, 1928 to Grant and Agnes Dixon in St. Joseph, Missouri.
Richard married Phyllis Chappell on September 7, 1946. She survives of the home.
He was self-employed as an Interior Decorator/Painter. A highlight of Richard’s career was traveling to Washington, D.C. and doing interior decorating for an ambassador of the United States.
He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, serving on the Parish Council, Legion of Mary, Mr. and Mrs. Club and volunteered at the Food Pantry.
Richard enjoyed mushroom hunting and loved family parties.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Ricky Dixon; brother, Paul Dixon; and sister, Mildred Johnson.
Survivors: daughters, Alana Nash (Pat), St. Peters, Missouri, and Lori Seiter (Doug); sons, Mike Dixon (Barbara), David Dixon, all of St. Joseph, and Tim Dixon (Terri), Kansas City; daughter-in-law, RoseMary; seventeen grandchildren; twenty-five great-grandchildren; and sister, Dorothy Hayter. .

Mary Marceline Allen
1923-2013
Mary Marceline Allen passed away on Sunday, May 12, 2013, at the Missouri Veterans’ Home in Cameron, Missouri.
She was born May 30, 1923 and as a young woman, worked at Jersey Cereal and Swift and Company. Mary served in the Army in World War II and on her second tour of duty, was stationed in Japan. She was at one time stationed at Rosecrans Air Field and transported wounded amputee servicemen arriving from the war zone to area hospitals. Following her military service, she was employed as a laboratory technician at the former Missouri Methodist Hospital, St. Joseph, until retirement in 1985.
Mary was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church and St. Anne’s Altar Society.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lee A. Allen and Agnes (Joyner) Allen; and all of her siblings: Harry Allen, Lilly Young, Clara Bowman, May Kearn, Elizabeth Allen and Dolores Wells.
Survivors: nieces, Dolores Wells, Annandale, Virginia, and Charlene Poppinga, Sedalia, Missouri; nephews, Robert Wells (Debbie), St. Joseph, Missouri, and Richard Wells (Sue), St. Joseph, Missouri; great-niece, Carissa Crabb (Jason), St. Joseph, Missouri; and great nephew, Brandon Wells, Kansas City, Missouri.

Robert D. Richie, 75, St. Joseph, Missouri died Sunday, May 12, 2013 at his home.
He was born March 25, 1938 to Jack and Gertrude Richie in St. Joseph, Missouri.
Robert married Mary Baker on October 11. She survives of the home.
He was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Boy Scouts Leader for thirteen years, youth baseball coach, and union President while working at the State Hospital.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing and being with his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Harold Alexander, and infant daughter Robin Dale Richie.
