Second Harvest Community Food Bank and the Hunger Coalition will host a free screening of the award-winning documentary, A Place at the Table, on May 21 at 6 p.m. at the Screenland Plaza 8 Theatre.
Ultimately, A Place at the Table shows how hunger poses serious economic, social and cultural implications to our community and nation, and that it could be solved if we take the stance that hunger is unacceptable.
Second Harvest Community Food Bank and the Hunger Coalition are inviting you to become part of the solution, by coming to this special one-night free screening. A discussion about the state of hunger in our region will follow the film for those who are interested.
