A memorial service is scheduled Saturday in Sabetha for a Fairview Mills employee killed in an industrial accident Tuesday afternoon.

Hiawatha, Kansas Police Chief John Defore says Ronald Hastings, 56, of Bern, Kansas became entangled in a piece of machinery commonly known as a “clump buster.”

A local and federal investigation continues.

A memorial service is scheduled May 18th at 11 a.m. at the Popkess Mortuary in Sabetha.
