The brother of a man serving 75-years for a fatal home invasion robbery is now facing sentencing for a similar robbery attempt last January.

Sylvester Pickett pleaded guilty to attempted robbery and armed criminal action for a botched home invasion in the 400 block of Woodson Street January 18th.

Judge Daniel Kellogg scheduled sentencing July 12th.

The defendant’s brother, Elijah Picket, was sentenced in March to 75 years for the robbery and murder of Brian Ullmer.
