One lucky person at a Publix supermarket in Florida over the past few days bought a ticket now worth an estimated $590.5 million — the highest Powerball jackpot in history.
Two Missouri Powerball players were so close to picking all the winning numbers that that their tickets are worth $1 million each.
The Missouri Lottery says one of the tickets was sold at Sam’s Liquor & Convenience in St. Louis, and the second was sold at Hartland Pit Stop in the southeast Missouri town of Doniphan.
Missouri Lottery executive director May Scheve Reardon is urging players to check their tickets carefully. Players have until Nov. 14 to claim prizes from Saturday’s drawing.
