Lois Mae (Moran) Gay, 75, St. Joseph, Missouri died Saturday, May 18, 2013 at her residence.
She was born March 29, 1938 to Clyde and Viola (Grooms) Moran.
She married Walter Dale Gay on June 12, 1971 and made their home in St. Joseph, Missouri for 39 years until Walter passed January 6, 2010.
Lois was of the Baptist Faith. She enjoyed crocheting, doll making, and candy making, for which she was known as the “Peanut Brittle Lady.”
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Gary Best; brothers, Earl Moran and Eric Moran; sisters, Jeanette Moran and Patricia Ramsey; and grandchildren, Stacy Gray and Jeremy Best.
Survivors: son, Ross Best (Laura); daughter, Sunny Gray; brothers, Wilburn Moran (Marilyn) and Glenn Moran (Joyce); sisters, Bonnie Best and Gloria Boea; five grandchildren, Emily, Katy, George, Joanie, and Amy; and nine great-grandchildren, Andrew, Tristan, Tanner, Kennize, George Jr., Destanie, Madalynn, Cody, Dalton, Jayden, Donna, and Katlyn.
Services: 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory. Interment Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Tuesday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory, where friends may call after 5:00 P.M. Tuesday. John “Jack” H. Robinson III
1936-2013

John “Jack” H. Robinson III, 76, St. Joseph, Missouri died Friday, May 17, 2013 at Heartland Regional Medical Center.
He was born May 20, 1936 to John H. II and Erma L. (Stanton) Robinson in St. Joseph, Missouri.
He married Charlotte Joan Weitlich June 12, 1960. She survives of the home.
Mr. Robinson served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War.
John was a graduate of Lafayette High School class of 1954. He worked as an electrician for 38 years retiring in 1998.
He was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church where he was a choir member, I.B.E.W. Local 545, American Legion Post 359 and Riverbend Promenaders.
John enjoyed square dancing and fishing.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and step-father, Henry Weiss.
Survivors: wife, Charlotte Robinson; one daughter, Diane Hunt (Michael), Topeka, Kansas; two sons, Steven Robinson (Lorianne) and Bryan Robinson (Traci) both of St. Joseph; brother, Bill Robinson (Marilyn), St. Joseph; sister, JoAnn Alexander, St. Joseph; grandchildren, Joel, Andrew, Aaron, Sara, Matthias (Jessica), Billy and Emily; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
