A rear-end collision on US-169 south of Gower Tuesday afternoon sent five people to the hospital.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says a Chrysler Pacifica stopped in traffic shortly after four p.m. and was hit from the rear by a Mercury Cougar.
Both occupants of the Cougar, Benjamin Frazier, 18, and his brother Patrick Frazier, 14, of Gower, suffered moderate injuries and were taken to Heartland.
Three people in the Pacifica were also transported to Heartland with what were described as minor injurites. The patrol identified them as Tamra Daniel, 21, and her sister Vanessa Daniel, 9, both of Gower, and Christoper Walden, 22, of St Joseph.
