Livingston County Sheriff Steve Cox on Thursday released the dash-camera video from a patrol car involved in a high-speed accident last week.
Cox says Deputy Sheriff Brady Graham was driving at speeds up to 92 miles per hour on his way to an intruder call in northwest Livingston County.
Deputy Graham hits the “air horn” on the siren box, in apparent attempt to get attention of an oncoming driver that was not yielding to the emergency vehicle.
Graham refused medical treatment. The patrol car was totalled. Cox calls this an “excellent educational video” showing how seat belts save lives. He says Deputy Graham had the camera pointed into the vehicle for a previous call and had not turned it back when the emergency call came in.
