An Iowa bar’s plan to host a wrestling show that will include two dwarfs has drawn some complaints.

The show would be presented as thousands of bicyclists roll through town in July during RAGBRAI, or the Register’s Annual Great Bike Ride Across Iowa.

Brian Filloon owns the Longest Yard Sports Grill in Dallas Center, Iowa.

Filloon says he was “just looking for something different for entertainment.”

Filloon says he’s been invited to attend a meeting with the Dallas Center City Council on Tuesday night to discuss his bar’s plans.

City Councilman Terry Gibson says the dwarf wrestling could cast Dallas Center in a negative light. He says it sounds “more like a carnival event – not an afternoon, evening community event.”
