An Amity, Missouri man escaped with minor injuries after a rollover accident involving a dump truck full of gravel.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says Michael Lippold, 22, lost control of the truck along Route-C southeast of Maysville at 11:30 am Thursday.

The dump truck overturned and dumped its load of gravel before skidding off the roadway.

Lippold was taken by private vehicle to Heartland Regional Medical Center with what the patrol described as minor injuries.
