A one-car crash on I-35 south of Cameron Sunday sent a teenager to the hospital with moderate injuries.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says Heaven Gott, 17, of Parkville was a passenger in a Buick Century that left the roadway and hit a guardrail. Gott was transported by ambulance to Cameron Regional Medical Center.

The driver, Nicholas Pierson of Excelsior Springs, was not hurt.

Investigators say he looked down at the clock on his radio and drifted off the highway.
