St Joseph Public Library is forming a partnership with Amazon.com to raise money for the library.
The partnership will allow a portion of some purchases on Amazon.com to be directed to the library’s budget.
Library director Mary Beth Revels says the proceeds amount to about 5 percent of each purchase from the online retailer and is not limited to books.
Customers must use a link specific to the St. Joseph Public Library before purchasing online. Amazon will look and function the same, but will have the words “stjosephpublic-20” at the end of the URL, which designates that the sale is benefiting the library.
Links to the fundraiser are on the Amazon site and at the library’s website.
