A Gillman City teen is recovering from moderate injuries after an accident south of Eagleville Thursday morning.

Four-teens, all under 16-years-old, were in the 72 Chevrolet truck when hit a bridge guard embankment on 200th Street Southwest of Eagleville.

The one injured teen was taken to the hospital in Bethany, then transferred to Children’s Mercy in Kansas City. The other three were not injured and were released to their parents, according to the Highway Patrol.

No one in the vehicle was wearing a seat belt. The accident was reported at 6:40 Thursday morning.
