Gladys Howard, 87, St. Joseph, Missouri died Thursday, June 27, 2013 at North Kansas City Hospital.

She was born January 22, 1926 to Basil and Nelle Howard in Cheyenne, Wyoming.

She worked for Quaker Oats as a receptionist for thirty-five years.

Gladys was a proud resident of St. Joseph, Missouri.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and three sisters, Joann Howard, Irene Lemasters, and Ilo Lickteig.
Survivors: sisters, Betty Kramer, Shawnee, Kansas, Carol Willis, North Kansas City, Missouri, Bess Mickaelson (Ron), Leawood, Kansas, Patsy Meton, Overland Park, Kansas and Cathy Worley (Ken), North Kansas City, Missouri; brothers, John Howard (Mary), Marysville, Kansas and Robert Howard (Carlyn), St. Joseph, Missouri; twenty-one nieces and nephews; as well as great nieces and nephews; and great-great nieces and nephews.
