Phyllis Elaine Peterson
1942-2013

Phyllis Elaine Peterson, 71, Kansas City, Missouri died Tuesday, July 9, 2013 at Heartland Regional Medical Center.
She was born February 21, 1942 to Elaine Malotte and William Richards in St. Joseph, Missouri.
Phyllis attended Benton High School in St. Joseph, Missouri and graduated from Laramie High School in Laramie, Wyoming. She was also a flight attendant for United Airlines for thirty-four years until retiring in 2002.
Phyllis was an avid Coca-Cola collector, liked scrapbooking, was a movie buff and most of all enjoyed traveling.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two former husbands, Don Gardner and Jerry Peterson; two sisters, Shirley McGuire and Johnee Marie Janovec; niece, Victoria Janovec; and a great aunt, Midge Paepke.
Survivors: brother, Bill Inman (Donna), Monticello, Kentucky; sister, Jackie Runyan (Tom), St. Joseph, Missouri; brother, Don Inman, St. Joseph, Missouri; nieces, Jody, Lisa, Lori Lynn, Veronica, Megan, Morgan and Shelby; nephews, Paul, Kevin, and Daniel; and numerous great nieces and nephews.
Services: Inurnment Mount Auburn Cemetery. The family will receive friends 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. Friday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory.
