Carolyn Kiner

Carolyn Kiner, 78, St. Joseph, Missouri, died Saturday, July 13, 2013, at a local healthcare facility.
She was born March 29, 1935 to Carl Norris and Cloa Teresa (Tiller) Russell in Amity, Missouri.
She married Jerry Kiner. He survivies of the home.
Carolyn worked at Sietz for 20 years and later at American Family for 15 years from which she retired.
Mrs. Kiner was a member of Central Christian Church and a lifetime member of the Lafayette Booster Club, where she was known as “Mrs. Lafayette”.
She enjoyed reading, writing and wrote several poems for her family and loved ones. She was passionate about her family and loved them very much.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors: husband, Jerry Kiner; son, Kevin Kiner; grandchildren, Derrick and Cole Kiner; sister, Mary Lou Champion; and niece, Janice Champion.
Services: 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, Central Christian Church. Interment Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Tuesday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory.
