Imagine more than 20 St. Joseph area churches coming together to organize a Sunday night summer concert series. The series, called IMAGINE Eleven, features eleven evenings of great music, tasty food, summertime fun, and benefits a great cause. IMAGINE Eleven is a brand new venue for showcasing highly gifted musicians, many hailing from Northwest Missouri. The music genres will vary weekly from Blues to Broadway.

“We wanted to create a platform for some of the great musical talent that we have right here in our region, and at the same time raise awareness of and funding for The Center,” said Roger Lenander, Pastor at First Lutheran Church in St. Joseph.

Three of the evenings will include special activities for kids. Summertime food and beverages will be available nightly for purchase, and food/beverage sales will help raise funds for The Center – the mental health agency that offers the broadest range of services in NW Missouri. The Center provides assistance to those without insurance or other financial options. (thecenterlistens.org)

IMAGINE Eleven happens each Sunday night, beginning June 2 and running through August 11, from 6:30 to 8:30 PM at Felix Square in downtown St. Joseph (7th and Felix Streets). Admission is free.
