Richard James Thompson Jr was arrested this week after a young girl’s father said she reported inappropriate sexual contact.

The 25-year-old Fairfax man is now charged with child molestation, sexual misconduct, statutory sodomy and enticement of a child. In court documents, officials say Thompson has admitted that he touched the five-year-old girl inappropriately.

He is being held on a $100,000 bond pending his next court appearance August 1st.
