Claudia Witt
1936-2013

Claudia Witt, age 77, of Grain Valley, Missouri, passed away on July 20, 2013.
Born one of seven children to Joseph and Lily Edwards on March 14, 1936, Claudia lived many years in St. Joseph, where as a teenager she met the love of her life, Bob Witt.
They were married on January 19, 1957.

Claudia served as Vice President of Commercial Bank of Liberty, and retired as Branch Manager.
She will be most remembered for her magnificent sense of humor, her intelligence, strength of character, unlimited generosity, and her devotion to family and friends.

Claudia is survived by her husband of 56 years, Robert Witt, their children Scott Witt, Julie Wertin, Linda Martin, and John Ricker, Linda’s husband, Andy Martin, Scott’s fiance Rhonda Speichinger, John’s wife, Delight Davis; 9 grandchildren: Michael Wertin, Claudia and Drew Martin, Brian Witt, Amber Wallace, Chris Wise, Davis and Roan Ricker, Riley Davis, brother Charles Edwards and sister-in-law June Edwards.

Services will be held Sat, July 27th at Heaton-Bowman Funeral Chapel in St. Joseph with 1:00 visitation and 2:00 service. Burial to follow at Mt. Auburn cemetery.
