Timothy Derr
1969-2013

Timothy Derr, 43, of St. Joseph, passed away Monday, July 22, 2013 at his home.

Tim was born on December 25, 1969 in St. Joseph to John R. and Linda K. (Blevins) Derr.

He graduated from Central High School in 1988 and worked for Boehringer-Ingelheim.

Tim was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Lynn and Glendora Derr, and maternal grandparents, JoAnn and Kenny Blevins.

Surviving family includes step-mom, Darlene Derr, daughter, Jessica (Michael) Whaley, sons, Kevin Matthew (Haley Watts) Derr and Joshua Derr, grandchild, Maddie Whaley, brother, Todd Eric (Nicole) Derr, sisters, Carrie (Josh) King and Sarah Derr, nieces, Kaitlynn, Kylee, Madalynn, Michaela and Corena, uncles and aunts, Larry (Gwen) Blevins, and Mike (Karen) Blevins, and cousins, Corey, Damien, Heather, Jill, Mickie and Cammie.

Services 11:00 AM Friday at Heaton-Bowman-Smith & Sidenfaden Chapel.
Interment Memorial Park Cemetery.

Visitation will begin 9:00 AM Thursday at our chapel, where the family will receive friends from 5:00 to 8:00 PM Thursday evening.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Heaton Bowman Smith to be used for the three surviving children.
