A passenger on a Harley rolling through Harrison County Wednesday afternoon should consider herself lucky. Luck and some savvy driving likely prevented more serious injuries in a crash at about 4:30 pm south of Blythedale.
Darlene Palmer, 39, of Kimberline was riding with Larry Taff, 63, of Blythedale, when a deer crossed onto Route T.
The animal hit the motorcycle and Palmer’s leg, but Taff was able to keep the bike upright and come to a controlled stop.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports Palmer was treated for minor injuries at the Harrison County Community Hospital in Bethany. Taff was not hurt.
