The United Way of St Joseph is hoping you’ll lend a hand for its annual “Stuff The Bus” school supplies drive August 2 and 3. They’re looking for volunteers on Friday from 8am to 7pm, and Saturday 8am until 5:30 pm.

You’ll be working with coordinators to collect donated school supplies from the community during this year’s tax-free weekend.

School buses will be parked outside both St Joseph Walmart stores.

United Way officials say you will be asked to work shifts of one hour, 45 minutes at a time. Some volunteers will inform shoppers of the drive at the store entrances, others will collect donations at the exits.  They still have more than 100 slots available.
