A deputy sheriff in Platte County, Missouri is on administrative leave after a pursuit with shots fired in Farley, Missouri.
According to a news release, the deputy was involved in a pursuit Friday afternoon. The sheriff’s office says the officer fired shots in the area of Main Street and West Street in Farley, after the suspect allegedly tried to strike the deputy with a vehicle.
Officials say the suspect was taken into custody. There were no injuries.
The deputy was placed on administrative leave under departmental policy as the investigation continues.
