A one-vehicle crash in Holt County Saturday night sent two people to the hospital.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports Randy Christian, of Burlington Junction, lost control of his pickup along Route 113 a half mile south of Maitland at 11pm Saturday. According to an online crash report, the truck traveled off the south side of the roadway, before Christian overcorrected. The truck then crossed the roadway and left the north side, hitting an embankment.

Christian,39 and a passenger, 40-year-old Fred Murphy of Maryville, were transported to Heartland Regional Medical Center with moderate injuries.
