Five Hurt In Worth County Crash

MSHP badge goldFive people including four teenagers were injured in a head-on collision in Sheridan, Missouri Tuesday evening.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says both vehicles made illegal lane changes into oncoming traffic. Investigators say the Chevy Monte Carlo and the Ford F-250 collided off Missouri Route 246 in a parking lot.

The driver of the Monte Carlo was identified as Andrew Faustlin, 16, of Ravenwood, who suffered serious injuries and was transported to Heartland Regional Medical Center.

Three passengers in the Monte Carlo were injured. Justin Parker, 17, of Parnell, was also seriously hurt and was transported to Heartland. Two other passengers, Andrew Mullock, 17, of Ravenwood, and Jacob West, 22, of Parnell, suffered moderate injuries. Both were transported to St Francis Hospital in Maryville.

The driver of the pickup truck, Gavin Hawk, 16, of Sheridan, was taken by personal vehicle to St Francis for treatment of moderate injuries.
