Hundreds of golfers are expected to tee off this Sunday to benefit the Northwest Missouri Children’s Advocacy Center. Board member Jim Grechus says the 7th annual benefit tournament will include some good-natured competition as teams battle for steaks and other prizes. But the main goal of the tournament is to raise money and awareness for the center.

The Northwest Missouri Children’s Advocacy Center works for a community in which all children are free of abuse and neglect. It provides a safe environment in which abused children receive professional services. The center serves nine counties in Northwest Missouri.

Players will tee off at 1:30 Sunday afternoon at Fairview in Saint Joseph.
