Transportation officials say they were able to open the southbound lanes of I-35 , but one northbound lane remained closed late Tuesday afternoon, after a semi hit a MoDOT truck.

There were no serious injuries.

All lanes of I-35 in Daviess County were closed from Exit 78 to Exit 68 due to an earlier traffic incident involving a non-hazardous spill. Traffic was temporarily rerouted onto U.S. Hwy 69 around the closure for several hours.
