A Northwest Missouri Man will serve a 70 year sentence for producing child pornography.

35-year-old Jeffrey Dale Wiederholt of Stanberry was sentenced Tuesday in Federal court for producing child pornography and possessing more than 1,000 images of child pornography.

He plead guilty last October to the charges. He also sexually abused a child under the age of 12, according to court documents, while producing child pornography. Federal investigators found that he had bragged about the disturbing encounters online.

Wiederholt also has multiple convictions for repeated contact with a then-15-year-old minor. Even after being confronted by law enforcement, court documents state, Wiederholt continued to contact and express his “love” for her.
