Jack Ray Richey 66, of St. Joseph, Missouri passed away Friday August 30, 2013 at his home.

He was born August 21, 1947 in St. Joseph, Missouri son of Dorthy & Jack Richey Sr.. He married Jeanette Wright Richey on September 27, 1991 and she survives of the home.

He was Mill Rite working at J & L Drywall, he also worked in appliance repair and termite control for several years. He enjoyed football, baseball, and bowling.

Jack was preceded in death by his father his parents.

He is survived by wife, Jeanette “J.R.” of the home. Children: Rosie (Dave) Hager, Carol (Kevin) Butler, Jack (Karla) Richey III, Terry (Angie) Richey, stepchildren: Barbara (John) Bailey, Frank (Cora) Reed, Donna (Dave) Blackshere, James Reed, Debbie (Tim) Williams, and William (Veronica) Reed, two brothers Gary (Zola) Richey, and Terry Richey as well as several, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, aunt, uncles, and cousins.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm on Wednesday at the Rupp Funeral Home. He will be cremated following the visitation under the direction of the Rupp Funeral Home.
