Jim C. Richardson 68, of Faucett, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, September 3, 2013. He was born January 4, 1945 in St. Joseph, MO, son of Mattie and Charles Richardson. He married Mary Hanway on October 14, 1983.
He worked at the Carpenter gang at Armour and Company, in the body shop at Keith Marsh Chevrolet, he also owned and operated Jim Richardson Body Shop in Faucett Missouri as well as farming and raising cattle.
He enjoyed former member NW Missouri Street Rod Assn., Agency Community Center Board, Faucett Cemetery Board, the ALPCA Automobile License Plate Collectors Assn. Jim loved to build things, go to auctions and garage sales and he was an avid collector of license plates. Jim was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include wife, Mary Richardson of the home a son, Ronnie Richardson of Faucett, MO, daughter, Christine Barnett of St. Joseph, MO, step-son, Kenny Smith of Gilman, IA, step-daughter, Jennifer Humphreys of St. Joseph, MO, four grandchildren, five great grand, four, and step-great grand.
Graveside funeral services and interment will be conducted on Friday, September 6, 2013 at 10:30 AM, at the Faucett Cemetery under the direction of the Rupp Funeral Home, Rev. James Barnett officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday at the Rupp Funeral Home. Memorials are requested to theAgency Community Center or the Faucett Cemetery.
