Two suspects are in custody and charged in Livingston County for child pornography and other related charges.
Livingston County Sheriff Steve Cox released details late this week on a joint investigation with the Western Missouri Cyber Crimes Task Force.
28-year-old Joseph Coffman of Chillicothe faces three felony counts of possessing child pornography with a $50,000 bond. 28-year-old Heather Rene Coffman, also of Chillicothe, faces felony possession of a controlled substance and a felony charge of endangering the welfare of a child.
The controlled substance was identified as Alprazolam, which treats anxiety, panic disorder and insomnia, according to the National Library of Medicine.
The two were arrested after a search warrant was executed in Chillicothe earlier this week. Sheriff Cox says additional charges may be pending and the investigation is far from over.
