The Northwest Missouri State golf team tied for fifth at the Drury University Fall Shootout on Tuesday afternoon. The Bearcats shot a combined 645 in a field of nine teams and 54 total individuals. Host Drury won the event, one shot clear of Arkansas Tech.
Taylor Gard and Ashley Powers finished in a tie for 10th, shooting a total of 158. Cassie Lowell had rounds of 78 and 84 to tie for 17th. Kristina D’Angela tied for 28th overall and Brooke Byland tied for 40th.
Up next, the Bearcats will head to the Southwest Minnesota Fall Invitational at the Marshall Golf Club in Marshall, Minn., starting on Sept. 21.
