The Saint Joseph School District will outsource its meals program. The Board of Education voted unanimously Monday night to hire Opaa! Food Management to run the program beginning next month.

School officials say the change should save money and improve service, while continuing to pay competitive wages to food service personnel. Opaa! will operate under one-year contracts with performance reviewed every year.
