A state lawmaker from Northwest Missouri is on a national list of the ten most promising conservative leaders under the age of 40. Republican Representative Casey Guernsey of Bethany was on the list released Monday by the American Conservative Union. The 32-year-old is a seventh-generation Harrison County farmer.

Guernsey was first elected to the Missouri House of Representatives in 2008 and is now serving his third term.
