Platte County authorities on Tuesday released new information in the death of a St Joseph woman found by a creek near East Dye Store Road last Friday.

Among other details, the Platte County Sheriff’s Office revealed that Tangela Fisher was found inside a homemade box.  They also released photographs including this apparent “selfie,” taken a few weeks ago

Officials found men’s and women’s clothing of varying sizes inside the box. Fisher, 35, was known to frequent downtown St Joseph.

Authorities released photos of the box and the clothing.  The cause of death is undetermined as it may take several days, or weeks, until toxicology results are available.
