One man was seriously injured in a Sunday night car crash in Clinton County.

According to the Missouri Highway Patrol Twenty-eight year old Benjamin D. Germani of Polo was driving a 1998 Dodge Dakota west on MO 116, 5 miles east of Lathrop and drove off the right side of the road and down a deep ditch. The vehicle hit the ground at the end of a driveway and became airborne and came to rest on its wheels on the driveway. Germani was transported to hospital in Liberty. He was wearing a seat belt.
