Gas prices are in full retreat.

AAA reports the national average is just over $3.46 per gallon, down more than a penny on the day and more than a nickel less than a week ago.

The average across Missouri Tuesday was just over $3.21 per gallon.  The Kansas average was $3.437

The statewide average in Missouri is down more than two cents from Monday’s average, nearly 13 cents lower than the average a week ago, and 19 cents cheaper than a month ago.

We’re seeing $3.17 per gallon all over St Joseph. That’s down 15 cents from a week ago and 20 cents lower than a month ago.
