A motorcyclist from Aspon, Iowa escaped with minor injuries after laying down his bike on I-35 North of Cameron Friday morning.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports 55-year-old Richard Harrell lost control of his Honda Goldwing at 9:40 am. Harrell was ejected.

The motorcycle skidded across the roadway and into a field where it caught fire. Harrell was transported to Cameron Regional Medical Center with minor injuries.
