Two Charged With Helping Dispose Of Murder Victim’s Body

A brother and sister have been charged with evidence-tampering for allegedly helping dispose of the body of Jason Davies, the St Joseph man whose body was found in the Missouri River in Leavenworth.

Authorities assert in court documents filed Friday that 49-year-old Patricia Butler was present during the homicide September 15 at an apartment in the 800 block of North 13th Street. A court affidavit says she called her brother, 55-year-old Billy Wilson, who allegedly suggested they dump the body in the river and offered a wheelbarrow to help move the body. Officials found the body four days later in the river in Leavenworth, Kansas.

On Thursday officials filed charges against three other suspects. Martin Del Rilinger and Robert Jarrell are charged with second-degree murder, for allegedly beating Davies to death with a baseball bat and a frying pan.

Dollie Williams was charged with evidence tampering for allegedly cleaning up the apartment after the killing. (Find more here)

A judge set bond for Butler and Wilson at $15,000. Both are being held pending formal arraignment Tuesday, Oct. 1.
