A Tuesday afternoon rollover accident sent one to the hospital.

According to the Missouri Highway Patrol sixty-three year old Danny E. Houston of Tarkio was driving a 2000 Ford eastbound on US 136, 3 miles east of Rock Port in Atchison County. The vehicle ran off the right side of the roadway, came back onto the road and went off the left side. The vehicle then struck an embankment and overturned numerous times, coming to rest on its wheels facing west. Houston was transported to the Fairfax hospital. He was not wearing a seat belt.
