Latest DWI saturation patrol results

Screen Shot 2013-10-03 at 11.10.35 AMCaptain Duane L. Robinson, commanding officer of Troop H, announces the results of a DWI saturation conducted on September 28, 2013, in Nodaway County.  The location was selected due to an elevated number of alcohol-related traffic crashes and impaired drivers.

The following is a list of enforcement contacts made during the operation.

DWI — 1

Speed Violations — 5

Seat Belt Violations — 2

Hazardous Moving Violations– 1

Uninsured Motorists — 2

No Driver’s License — 1

Non-Moving — 3

Warnings — 32

Captain Robinson stated, “The Missouri State Highway Patrol is tasked with highway safety.  Conducting the DWI saturations is an effective approach to making Missouri’s highways a safer place for motorists.”
