The St. Joseph Family YMCA is giving furloughed federal workers a break.

Heidi with the Y told St. Joseph Post, “in an effort to support individuals and families impacted by the closing ofl U.S. government offices, will offer a free Y membership to all affected government employees and their families for the duration of the shutdown.

All current YMCA members who are affected by the shut down may request a free membership for the duration of the shutdown. Please bring in your federal I.D. and we will help you.”
