Saint Joseph received .84 of an inch of rain from thunderstorms that rumbled through Northwest Missouri Friday. Official National Weather Service measurements show the rain started after 8 pm and most of it, .77, fell between 9 and 10. Our rainfall was part of a massive storm system that brought heavy snow to the Black Hills of South Dakota and tornadoes to eastern Nebraska and western Iowa.
