A rollover crash involving two semis sent one of the drivers to the hospital. The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the driver of a westbound Kenworth fell asleep at the wheel. His vehicle crossed the median along US-36 four miles east of Cameron at about 4am Tuesday.

A passenger, David Plausing, 24, of Arcadia, Florida suffered minor injuries amd was transported to Cameron Regional Medical Center.

Traffic investigators say a second big rig in oncoming traffic braked and swerved to avoid the Kenworth but was hit by the trailer.

The Kenworth then left the highway, hit an embankment, and overturned. There were no other injuries reported.
