Excitement about the Agri-Business Expo Center is growing and will be celebrated during Harvest Fest on Thursday at Kovac’s Hall.

A limited number of tickets will be available at the door. If you’re planning to attend, please call (816) 344-0373 so your tickets can be held at the door.

Doors open at 5 p.m. Meals will be served til 8 p.m. You are welcome to come and stay for the whole evening or to arrive as your schedule allows.

The menu includes Deep fried tenderloin served on a bun, fresh cut french fries, baked beans, cole slaw. An apple tasting bar will feature a variety of locally grown apples. In addition, local growers and food processors will have samples of their products available for tasting.

Ann and Terry Brock will provide the entertainment. Fireworks will light the sky after dark!

Door prizes will be available throughout the evening. A Harvest Fest trivia contest will highlight the amazing facts about local agriculture.

 

Directions to Kovac’s Hall:

From U.S. Highway 36: Exit to U.S. 229/Highway 59 South to Kansas City. Take exit 6A and merge onto South 6th Street. At the light at the Y, veer left onto King Hill Avenue. Continue for 2.2 miles. King Hill Avenue becomes Route V outside of St. Joseph city limits. At Kovac’s Fireworks, turn left onto SE King Hill Road, which runs parallel to Route V. The first road will be Turner Road. Turn left onto Turner Road. The Hall is on the left, follow the gravel drive to parking.
