(AP) — A website for a northwest Missouri community that’s facing criticism over the handling of a teen sexual assault case has been taken down because of security

concerns.
On Monday, the online activist group Anonymous released an online statement criticizing the decision not to prosecute two 17-year-old boys. One boy was accused of sexually assaulting a 14-year-old girl during a January 2012 party and another was accused of capturing what happened on his phone.
But charges were dropped. Prosecutors say the accusers refused to cooperate; the 14-year-old’s family disagrees.
Nodaway County Clerk Beth Walker says the company that hosted the county’s website decided to temporarily take it down Monday for safety and to protect its servers.
The hosting company, Midwest Data Center in Rock Port, didn’t immediately return a phone call.
