Luther Herman Schroeder 75, of Amazonia, Missouri passed away Wednesday October 9, 2013 at his home. He was born April 23, 1938 in St. Joseph, Missouri son of Della & Amel Schroeder. He married Debra Blazinski Schroeder on August 2, 1996, and she survives of the home. He retired from Armour & Co. when they closed. He enjoyed mushroom hunting, fishing and door to door ministries. He was a Jehovah’s Witness. Luther was preceded in death by his parents, and two sisters, Sue Courter, and Lois Owens. He is survived by wife, Debra Schroeder of Amazonia, MO, son, Benny Schroeder and wife Patricia of St. Joseph, MO, 4 daughters, Brenda Bell of Cameron, MO, Cheri Schroeder of Cainsville, MO, Katrina Smith and husband Rick of Savannah, MO, and Stephanie Schroeder of Bolckow, MO, seven, grandchildren, seven, great grandchildren, and two brothers, Alvin Schroeder of St. Joseph, MO, and Gene Schroeder of Norwood, MO, and a sister, Alice Allen of Southern, MO. A Memorial service will be held Saturday, October 19, 2013 at 4:00 pm at the Kingdom Hall Of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 4605 Picket Road, St. Joseph, MO.
