Some areas of western Kansas are bracing for one to two inches of snow this morning.

The National Weather Service, fresh off it’s shutdown/vacation, issued a winter weather advisory for the northwest corner of the state.
Current radar shows snow and rain turning to snow from Denver to Hays.
The KDOT highway cameras showed no accumulation on the roadways by 6am. Some accumulation was visible alongside the highway and in the median at several locations.
